Deploy Tempik on Cloudflare

  1. Step 1: Set up Appflare in your Cloudflare account

    Appflare installs itself into your own Cloudflare account from your browser, and runs on the free Workers plan, as Tempik does. See what Tempik needs on your account.

  2. Step 2: Install Tempik

    The install form asks you for:

    • Mail domain
    • A domain of yours that can receive email

    It also has an optional setting you can leave for later.

    One switch on the form puts Tempik behind Cloudflare Access, so only the people who use your Appflare can open it.

  3. Step 3: Finish setting it up

    After the install, Appflare shows two short steps for Tempik, on its page.

  • Updates in one clickAppflare tells you when the catalog has a new version, and Update installs it.

Does Tempik run on Cloudflare's free plan?

Yes. Tempik runs on Cloudflare's free Workers plan, and so does Appflare.

What does Tempik create in my Cloudflare account?

Appflare creates a Worker for Tempik and the resources it uses: D1 databases. It also uses Email Routing and a domain. Appflare records each resource it creates; an uninstall deletes them, keeping any data you choose to keep.

How do I update Tempik?

When the catalog has a new version, Tempik's page in Appflare says Update available. Select Update: Appflare takes a snapshot first, so you can roll back to the version before. You can also let Appflare update it automatically.

Is Tempik open source?

Yes, under MIT. An open-source license: you may use, change and share the app on its terms. Its source code is at github.com/hirotomasato/tempik.
