Deploy Folia on Cloudflare

  1. Step 1: Set up Appflare in your Cloudflare account

    Appflare installs itself into your own Cloudflare account from your browser, and runs on the free Workers plan, as Folia does. See what Folia needs on your account.

  2. Step 2: Install Folia

    Folia needs no keys or settings from you.

    It also has an optional setting you can leave for later.

    One switch on the form puts Folia behind Cloudflare Access, so only the people who use your Appflare can open it.

  3. Step 3: Finish setting it up

    After the install, Appflare shows a short step for Folia, on its page.

Yes. Folia runs on Cloudflare's free Workers plan, and so does Appflare.

What does Folia create in my Cloudflare account?

Appflare creates a Worker for Folia. Appflare records each resource it creates; an uninstall deletes them, keeping any data you choose to keep.

How do I update Folia?

When the catalog has a new version, Folia's page in Appflare says Update available. Select Update: Appflare takes a snapshot first, so you can roll back to the version before. You can also let Appflare update it automatically.

Is Folia open source?

Yes, under AGPL-3.0-only. An open-source license: you may use, change and share the app on its terms. Its source code is at github.com/chthollyphile/folia-major.
