About

Cloudflare's AI productivity environment: an agent chat that gets work done for you, and builds small private apps (gadgets) on request, each in its own sandbox, shareable with your team.

This install has the workspace, the agents, gadgets and blueprints, the Context library, scheduled agent runs, and the connectors for GitHub, Google, Slack, Notion, Linear, Cloudflare and other services; most of them start working once you give them an OAuth client of your own. Everyone signs in through Cloudflare Access.

Features

  • Ask AI to build and edit small apps using your own model provider key
  • Share private apps with teammates and collaborate in real time
  • Start apps from reusable blueprints and share your own
  • Let AI work with connected services after you set up their OAuth clients
  • Review and approve changes before AI applies them to connected services
  • Choose which documents and accounts each AI agent can access

Deploy Cloudflare OS on Cloudflare

  1. Step 1: Set up Appflare in your Cloudflare account

    Once

Appflare installs itself into your own Cloudflare account from your browser, and runs on the free Workers plan. Cloudflare OS needs Workers Paid on that account. See what Cloudflare OS needs on your account.

  2. Step 2: Install Cloudflare OS

The install form asks you for:

    • Administrators

It also has 25 optional settings you can leave for later.

Cloudflare OS is always installed behind Cloudflare Access, so only the people who use your Appflare can open it.

  3. Step 3: Finish setting it up

After the install, Appflare shows four short steps for Cloudflare OS, on its page.

With Appflare instead of by hand

  • Nothing to build on your computerAppflare sets itself up from your browser, with no API token to create and nothing to install.
  • Updates in one clickAppflare tells you when the catalog has a new version, and Update installs it.
  • Health checksAfter every install and update, Appflare checks that the app answers.
  • It stays in your own accountEverything runs on your Cloudflare account and your plan, and Appflare records what it creates, so an uninstall removes it.

Questions

Does Cloudflare OS run on Cloudflare's free plan?

No. Cloudflare OS needs Cloudflare's Workers Paid plan on your account. Appflare itself runs on the free plan.

What does Cloudflare OS create in my Cloudflare account?

Appflare creates a Worker for Cloudflare OS and the resources it uses: KV namespaces and R2 buckets. It also uses Workers AI, Browser Rendering and Cloudflare Access. Appflare records each resource it creates; an uninstall deletes them, keeping any data you choose to keep.

How do I update Cloudflare OS?

When the catalog has a new version, Cloudflare OS's page in Appflare says Update available. Select Update: Appflare takes a snapshot first, so you can roll back to the version before. You can also let Appflare update it automatically.

Is Cloudflare OS open source?

Yes, under Apache-2.0. An open-source license: you may use, change and share the app on its terms. Its source code is at github.com/cloudflare/cloudflare-os.
